An exhibition of illustrations inspired by fashion imagery presented by A Curious Teepee and OIC Singapore.
Inspired by the Japanese-British designer Hana Tajima-Simpson whose designs exude a sense of purity in this time of fading innocence. In translating that concept, I took the liberty to design the “costume” from my fascination with the once near extinct Japanese Red-crowned Crane, for its rich mythological origin and as a symbol of nobility in literature.
